How to Get Started
Buying a new home for the first time can be an exciting and lengthy process. Getting pre-approved for a mortgage is the first step; however, we will work with you to determine if you are ready for homeownership now or assist you in planning for the future. Our staff will assess your unique situation and connect you with area resources for:
Our Program Manager can work with you to determine if you are ready for home ownership now, help you plan to get ready in the near future, guide you through the steps and requirements for placement on our list of approved home buyers, and/or refer you to additional community resources as needed.

Do I Qualify?
Program eligibility is based on household size and income. Yellow Springs Home, Inc. works with families or individuals who earn up to 80% of Area Median Income. In some instances, we are able to serve households making less than 50% AMI and between 80% and 100% AMI.

*These services are available to clients who have completed and submitted the home buyer application, along with the $15 application fee. The fee is used to cover costs associated with providing one-on-one coaching services.
