In
2000, Yellow Springs Home Inc. built its first affordable house at
321 North High Street
.
Just two years later, Home
Inc. rehabbed its second affordable house at
143 West Center College Street
.
In 2004, Home Inc. received
an almost $400,000 grant from the Ohio Housing Finance
Agency to build and/or rehab up to 10 affordable homes.
The first home completed with this grant was 321 South High
Street. Home Inc.'s first newly constructed home were
completed shortly after at 310 South High
Street and 1211 Xenia Avenue.
