In early 2000, YS Home, Inc. acquired its first property and set to work designing and building a house that incorporated the tiny home once owned by long-time resident Ross Endsley The historic Endsley home (photo right) at 321 High Street now forms the central core of the newly designed 3-bedroom, 2 bath home (below). The new house was designed by architect Patty Rice, a former Home Inc. board member. Chris Glaser was the contractor who oversaw both the professional crew and more than 50 volunteers who contributed about 600 hours of hard labor in building the house. Home Inc. is grateful, too, to the many private donors and businesses who contributed money and materials to the building of the house.
