	The First Annual Tony Bent Affordable Housing Award and Picnic 2009:
	The first Annual Tony Bent Affordable Housing Award is designed to honor volunteers who contribute significantly to the Yellow Springs Home, Inc. mission. The very first recipient and namesake of the award is Tony Bent. Tony illustrates the true meaning of community service through his lifetime of engagement in the Yellow Springs community. At Y.S. Home, Inc. he was a founding board member. He also generated the private donations that made our very first home possible. In addition, he served as Board President and sat on the Fundraising Committee for many years. Overall, his contributions are invaluable.

	Everyone is having a great time at the picnic, which took place in John Bryant Park.

	Program Manager Emily Seibel, our newest staff member, is introduced by Executive Director Marianne MacQueen.
	Marianne MacQueen gives Kim Novak, Vista Volunteer and Assistant to the Executive Director, a gift to honor her two years of dedicated Vista service to Yellow Springs Home, Inc.
	Kim Novak has been a tremendous asset to Y.S. Home, Inc. We wish her great success in her future endeavors!
