The Lawson house dated back to the 1860s, but was not salvageable.

Miami Township Fire-Rescuse burned the original house in a training exercise in October 2004.

The cleared lot at 503 Dayton Street.

Late March 2005, construction begins.

The roofing is completed by local sub-contractor, David Barker of DSB Construction.
